Jerusalem 30AD
Based on ruins, writings and other archaeological findings, this is very much what Jerusalem is thought to have looked like at the time of Jesus's crucifixion. This painting was done for the "God Came Running" Novel and its coming exhibition. In the novel we retrace His steps through the city from the Last Supper all the way to the hill of Golgotha.
